Guddus’s sole purpose in life is to amuse his audience. Based on Guddu the Circus Lion from Motu Patlu: King of Kings, Guddu the Great is a spin-off series of Motu Patlu. In January 2019, it was released on Amazon Prime Video. This show’s other characters are all from Motu Patlu: King of Kings. It is no surprise that it is ZEE5’s best-animated series. The skilled actor Javed Jaffery provided the voice-over for Guddu, deftly modulating his tone and voice to keep you hooked to the show.
Story / Plot
The main characters of Guddu are a lion named Guddu and his pals, who manage a circus in a world where all animals exist. His audience’s entertainment is his primary motivation in life. However, Billauri and Kallu, his haters, constantly cause him problems. The magnificent lion Guddu rules the jungle. He views all other creatures as buddies and takes care of them. To enrich the lives of the animals, Guddu also serves as the director of the Falana Nagar City Circus.
The intense drama show stays faithful to his signature line, “Guddu hain mera naam…Entertainment hain mera kaam.” Guddu features elements of Bollywood films, including songs, dances, and dramatic and humorous dialogue. Also, this program introduces a ton of interesting and entertaining people. Because each character speaks uniquely, the show has a distinct local and regional flavor. And. Chugli, for example, speaks Bengali, Veeru speaks Punjabi, and Babli is a Gujarati. Other characters, Billauri, the cat, and Kallu, the buffalo, add adventure and fun to this show.
