The Indian animated television series Taarak Mehta Ka Chhota Chashmah, also known as Taarak Mehta’s Small Spectacles (TMKCC) centers on TV series “Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.” The episode debuted on Sony YAY! on April 19, 2021. With its massive summer release, Taarak Mehta Kka Chhota Chashmah, Sony YAY! brings the renowned Gokuldhaam society and its characters into the animated world in a category-first attempt to adapt a TV show. The lively occupants of a Mumbai housing complex are followed in this animated version of a well-loved sitcom as they humorously deal with life’s obstacles.
Plot
It is based on the Hindi sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, which bases itself on Tarak Mehta’s weekly column Duniya Ne Undha Chasma in Chitralekha magazine. Producer Asit Kumar Modi is behind it. In the show, Tapu and the Gokuldham Co-operative Housing Society go on adventures, and whenever something goes wrong, Tapu and his buddies figure it out. Issues such as theft, altercations, or abduction are observed to be resolved.
The show’s cast includes well-known characters, but its narratives are entirely new and specially tailored for younger audiences. Thus, it seemed appropriate to expand the universe of our characters into an animated setting. I had long had the idea and desire to do an animated series based on the characters of TMKOC. Thanks to the collaboration with Sony YAY! that brought this vision to life, the characters and the channel’s fundamental brand values are a perfect fit. With a dash of fanciful twists, this show gives everyone a taste of their own Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah universe, suitable for children and whole families.
We also hope that viewers will continue to adore and cherish both Taarak Mehta Kka Chhota Chashmah and Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah and that they will exhibit the same devotion and love for both programs.
